Through the years they both moved on to work for multiple other hotels in the Phoenix area before joining forces and individual talents to build a company where there are no boundaries.

My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Evin and the Laki team to help plan our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Our wedding venue recommended Evin to us, and I can see why - she's absolutely fantastic. Evin and the Laki team helped us every step of the way, from planning to designing to day-of execution. Evin was always there to keep us on track and relieve our stress. We felt confident in her ability to execute our vision and make our day perfect - and she did just that. We had so many guests tell us it was one of the best weddings they've ever been to, and we know that couldn't have happened without Evin and the Laki team. We hired Laki Events and Design for our destination wedding (we live in Chicago but our wedding was in Scottsdale, Arizona) and they were FABULOUS! We interviewed quite a few of potential wedding planners before we came across Laki and it was clear from our very first Zoom call with Lara that they were best possible option. Lara and Brooke were an absolute pleasure to work with every step of the way - they are professional, detail oriented and creative - everything you could want in an event planner. They thought of absolutely everything, they solved problems before they happened and anticipated my every need as the bride. On top of everything else Brook and Lara are two of the kindest, most genuine women - they are so sweet and so fun to be around! Our wedding weekend was absolutely perfect and so much of that was thanks to Lara and Brooke. If you are a bride-to-be planning a wedding (or any event, for that matter) you MUST call Laki Events and Design - they are simply the BEST.

Making the choice to have Lara and her team at Laki Events a part of our wedding was the BEST choice we could have ever made! Lara is so sweet and easy to work with and she really made sure we had the wedding of our dreams. She was very professional throughout the whole process and such a huge help. If I ever had any questions or changes, she always got back to me in a timely manner and was very responsiveness to everything I needed.

The day of our wedding, she made sure all vendors showed up on time and everything was set up ready to go. The whole day ran smoothly and she always made sure to check in and see how everything was going. Even after the wedding, both my husband and parents said Lara was amazing! Many of our other vendors for the wedding were so excited to hear they got to work with Lara and Laki Events again, and that really says a lot. I would definitely recommend them to any couple because having Lara was literally the best thing we did!

Hand up, I was one of the (dumb) grooms who thought we could plan and execute our own wedding and was so, so happy to have had her help. Do yourself a favor, hire Laki! Our wedding turned out better than we could have imagined and it would not have been possible without the Laki team. Jaclyn made the whole wedding planning experience a joy, from her attention to detail to making sure it all ran smoothly. The best choice we made was hiring Laki as our planner!

Lara was absolutely amazing. IF anything went wrong on my wedding day, she handled it and I was not aware of it. I was nervous to pass the reigns on to someone else for such an important day, but Lara was incredible. Her timelines & organization skills were impeccable. She kept the rehearsal, ceremony, and reception on track while still being so calm, kind, & flexible. The cost of a coordinator seems like a lot, but Lara was worth every penny. She was SO responsive, prompt, and really took the time to make sure everything panned out like I had imagined it. Our families and bridal party (and myself!) were able to just enjoy the day and not worry about anything. I HIGHLY recommend a day of/ month of coordinator And ABSOLUTELY recommend Lara and Laki Events.
